Mike Manning, owner of Choice Tattoos of rural Wauzeka, was given the opportunity to have a commercial produced showcasing Mike and his business Choice Tattoos and have that commercial aired on TLC (The Learning Channel) during the hot new season three of Miami Ink and Kat Von D's premiere episode of L.A. Ink.
Mike said, "It's still a commercial and it does cost you for production, but it was avery nominal cost, a token of respect, and after 35 years in this business, it felt good to be asked."
Mike's 12-week, prime time commercial on TLC episodes of Miami Ink and L.A. Ink began on Tuesday, July 24 on cable television covering from south of Dubuque to north of La Crosse, and from Central Iowa to east of Madison.
